In the oceanside log cabins of Tigh-Na-Mara and along the sparkling banks of Riverbend Resort on Central Vancouver Island, a couple of hundred keen students of all ages and stages gathered to share the Celtic musical traditions.

    Evening student-led Concert Ceilidhs and the Wacky Jig & Hornpipe Contest were presented at the Parksville Community & Conference Centre to enthusistic crowds of CeltFest participants, community members, and tourists.

    On Thursday night, an overflow crowd at the Port Theatre in Nanaimo tapped their toes and sang along as CeltFest stars performed for them at the Sunset & Stars Gala. A long standing ovation followed the last strains of Beolach's performance signalling the end of another magical CeltFest Vancouver Island.
