Come Join the Celebration!!
Starting at 4:45 PM Vancouver Islanders and visitors are invited to meet at Diana Krall Square to join Mayor Ruttan in following Celt Fest Piper, Rene Cusson along the waterfront walk to the Maffeo Park stage for Celtic Heritage Week celebrations.
Alternatively, you are welcome to go directly to Maffeo Park to join in the festivities starting at 4:30 pm.
The stage program starts with opening ceremonies presented by Mayor John Ruttan followed by Celtic arts performances presented by CELT FEST - including music,dance and stories celebrating the Celtic heritage of Nanaimo and Vancouver Island.
Delicious Celtic themed food will be available for sale and various activities will take place throughout the evening.
