The Celtic cultures and their music and dance merge in these exciting evenings of entertainment between Victoria and Nanaimo on CeltFest week.

     Performances will be given by internationally acclaimed Celtic musicians and dancers showcasing their talents, including Wendy MacIsaac, Mac Morin, and Mairi Rankin of the Cape Breton Band Beòlach, all stellar musicians in their own right , the world-beat Celtic trio Bob Worrall, Ruth Sutherland and Doug Feaver from Toronto's Scantily Plaid, reigning World Champion Highland Dancer David Wilton, CeltFest Irish Dancers and many more --all slated for both the Saturday July 5 and 12 concerts which are different shows. 

 

     Champion Highland piper Ken Eller, Juno-nominated singer Eileen McGann, the ever-so-popular duo Alan Walters and John Fisher duo along with the young teen World Champion Highland Dancer Morgan Bamford from New Zealand and select student performers will be among the many in the line up for Thursday’s Raise the Roof! Concert Ceilidh and Silent Auction, a fundraiser for the CeltFest Youth Scholarship Fund. Bring your chequebook and your dancing shoes for this fun family event.
